TOUR ITINERARY IN DETAIL:

Day 1: - Arrival in Entebbe.

You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, located on a peninsula that juts out into the largest fresh-water lake in Africa (Lake Victoria), where our driver-guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay. On arrival at the hotel, the driver-guide will brief you about the tour and also advise you on the time of departure for day 2.

Mid-range Accommodation: The Boma Entebbe, Best Western Premier Hotel or 2Friends Beach Hotel

Luxury Accommodation: Protea Hotel Entebbe or Hotel Number 5

Day 2: – Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and bring you to the airport to check-in for your domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. The flight takes about 1.5 hours flying over the countryside of Uganda and on arrival at the airstrip, the driver from the lodge will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge. Once at the lodge, you will check in, rest a bit, have lunch and then you can either choose to remain at the lodge relax or do an activity. Below are some of the activities that can be done;

• Community walk & Batwa cultural trail experience at USD $40 per person
• Nature walk + waterfall tour inside the park at USD $80 per person
• Nature walk + waterfall tour outside the park at USD $40 per person
• Community walk at USD $30 per person

Driving time from Kisoro Airstrip: ± 1.5 hours

Day 3: - Gorilla Trekking Experience – Rushaga Sector

Very early in the morning after breakfast, you will carry your packed lunch and be at the park ranger station by 7.30am for registration and briefing and start the Gorilla trekking experience at around 8:00am. This remarkable experience of searching for the famous Mountain Gorillas is strenuous thus requires one to be physically fit, however, the thrill of encountering these humble and gentle giants erases the poor memories you went through while finding them.  The trekking takes 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas in the jungle and you will spend one hour with them as you take photos and learn about their behaviors.

Day 4: – Fly back to Entebbe/Departure

This morning you will have an early breakfast and start the drive to Kisoro Airstrip to board the flight back to Entebbe and once at Entebbe International Airport, you will connect to your flight back home or to your next destination.

Meals: Breakfast only!
